Hannah Gumpert is a junior at New West Charter in Los Angeles, California. She’s been devouring books for as long as she can remember, and she has grown a passion for writing as well—she’s been published in literary magazines including WriteGirl and Joseph’s Inkwell, and she received an American Voices medal from the Scholastic Art and Writing awards. This year, she will also join the editorial staff at the JGIRLS+ magazine. She’s been a part of the Shakespeare Youth Festival for most of her life and is a madricha for hyper first graders at IKAR on Shabbat.
