Naomi Granek Brown is a junior at Franklin High School in Portland, Oregon. She is an avid swimmer and swims for both her club and high school swim teams, and she runs cross country with her high school team. She loves reading, writing and science, and during her free time can often be found reading a book, swimming in any available body of water, or hanging out with her friends. She is also a writer for her school newspaper, is very involved with her synagogue, and has served on a local Jewish community youth board.
