Live from Youtube, it's Gilda Radner!

Twenty two years ago today, Gilda Radner's life was cut short by ovarian cancer. Gilda Radner was a beloved Saturday Night Live comedian who created a number of memorable characters. Her legacy lives on at jwa.org, in our documentary film Making Trouble, and of course, on Youtube. Join us in celebrating her life by watching some today.

I just loved having a look back at Gilda. I was also a Jewish girl with very frizzy hair and I felt better knowing that even I got teased in school, better things awaited me when I got out in the world. Thank you for making these videos available; I enjoyed them very much.

If you like Gilda Radner, you'll enjoy this spoof about a Zumba class gone wrong. It's a fundraising project for Gilda's Club charity. See it by clicking on the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... Please watch the 3-minute video and donate by clicking on the paypal link. Happy Viewing!

Double your impact to amplify Jewish women’s stories—
All gifts matched up to $35,000

Before you close this article, please consider supporting the Jewish Women’s Archive and uplifting Jewish women’s voices.

At JWA, we preserve the voices of Jewish women and gender-expansive people past and present, share them freely with millions online, and empower a new generation of Jewish feminists to lead with courage, creativity, and conviction.

But none of this happens without you. JWA is an independent nonprofit— we rely on people, like you, who believe that history belongs to all of us and that the voices of Jewish women must remain powerful, and heard.

This month, a generous JWA board member will match every gift dollar for dollar—up to $35,000—through June 30. Your contribution goes twice as far right now.

Every contribution—no matter the size—helps us document, teach, and inspire through Jewish women’s stories.

It takes less than a minute to make a difference.
