Annie Katz, a junior at The Emery/Weiner School in Houston, Texas, is a board member of the Student Government Association and Jewish Life Committee. Her passion for Judaism has allowed her to become an active participant in her synagogue, Congregation Beth Yeshurun; a leadership council member of Houston Holocaust Museum’s Engines of Change program; and a Vice President of her school's Moot Beit Din team. In addition to her Jewish leadership, Annie enjoys playing golf and participating in school theatre productions. In her free time, she loves being with family and friends and making coffee!
