Susannah Abel-Zucker Headshot

Susannah Abel-Zucker is a senior at Northampton High School in Massachusetts. She is the technical director of her school's theater department, as well as the co-founder and head editor of Flood-Tide, its arts and literary magazine. An aspiring Yiddishist, she has studied at the YIVO Institute in New York and appeared onstage with the Valley Troupe, the Five College Consortium's Yiddish theater troupe. In her rapidly disappearing free time, she writes plays and poetry about Yiddish and queerness and history, plays the harp, reads Wikipedia articles, and makes art with her friends.
